Bogotá Concierge Tour Activities
When you arrive, you will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel so you can check in and freshen up for the evening adventures! To ensure that no time is wasted, the Concierge can bring a date to the airport so that you are ensured of companionship for the evening!
Later that evening you will be taken out on the town to visit some of the local hot spots such as the “Pink Area”, “T Zone”, “G Zone” and “Park 93 ”. These exciting dining and drinking areas provide plenty of sophisticated restaurants, bars and night clubs for you to mingle, dance and start your trip off on the right foot! To make sure that you don't waste valuable time waiting in line, reservations can be made at some of the VIP areas.
The best part is that you will be joined by local women to ensure the best experience!
On the first day of your vacation, you will be given the opportunity to stretch your legs and to walk the streets of the historic district and the main plaza of Bogotá. The main plaza is home to city hall, justice hall, the capitol and the Nariño Palace, Colombia’s presidential house. We have provided current information and some valuable links if you would like to learn about Colombian Politics prior to your trip. Following the main plaza is a trip to the world famous Botero and Gold museums. Lunch will be at the M Zone (la Macarena), a gourmet area of Bogota full of many small, bohemian and family owned restaurants. That evening you will be taken to Usaquen, a “small town” inside the big city with a variety of choices for coffee, beer and cocktails.
The evening can end at Andres Carne De Res a world famous restaurant that transforms itself into Colombia's most popular night club. It will be full of beautiful people, excellent Latin music, huge cocktails and world class food. It is uniquely decorated with Colombian artifacts and is a tourist destination by itself. Time magazine and Newsweek have dedicated whole pages to this restaurant and it is considered one of South Americas best night clubs.
The following day you, a date and the Concierge can head to Tobia national park where you have your choice of rafting, cañonying (natural water slides), paint ball, horse riding and canopying (Zip Line through the forest), just to name a few of the options.
For the following days of your Concierge Tour, you can either explore Bogotá with your new lady friends, or you can explore the natural beauty of Colombia on optional day tours.
A popular tour is the salt cathedral of Zipaquira. This salt deposit was originally mined by Colombian Indians thousands of years. With the introduction of modern salt excavation techniques many tunnels and chambers were left behind. The miners have transformed these tunnels and chambers into the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira! It is truly a man made wonder, an architectural and engineering masterpiece. Inside the mine you will see huge crosses and a fully equipped cathedral, all made out of salt rock.
Another activity to consider is to visit “La Calera”, a beautiful site where you will find a breathtaking panoramic of Bogota.
If you want to "steam up" your Concierge Tour, you can visit the HOT SPRINGS of Macheta. These are the only hot springs in South America and they are an hour and half from Bogota.
