Colombians

A main reason that Colombia is such a nice country to visit is it's people. As you will experience for yourself, the Colombians are friendly, helpful, easy going and relaxed!

Both the Colombian men and women welcome tourists and are always ready to provide a helping hand .

Colombia has the second largest population in South America and is made up of the following ethnic groups:
58 % Mestizos, a mixture of European and Native American race
20% of unmixed European race
14% Mulatto, a mixture of black and European race
4% Black
3% mixed black-Native Americans
1% of unmixed Native Americans

Colombia's 36 million citizens are highly educated and can provide excellent conversation!. If you do not speak Spanish you will find that many of the younger children and most business people speak some English. If you speak or understand some Spanish you will find that the Colombian Spanish is among the clearest and easiest to understand in the world.
