Before you start communicating with Colombian Women, here is some background on the Colombian Culture and Colombian Women.

Colombian Culture
Like all of Latin America, Colombia is predominantly a Roman Catholic country. As such it is more conservative in many ways than North American cultures.
In-addition, Colombia is a large country with significant regional cultural differences that you should be aware of.  With that said, here are some general guidelines you can follow to maximize the enjoyment of your Tour.

Local Dress and Styles
Many Americas know about Colombia through the media and cinema. Movies such as Clear and Present Danger and Proof of Life has convinced many Americans that Colombia is all hot and humid jungle. Nothing can be further from the truth!
Being located at the top of South America, Colombia has two coast lines, the Pacific and the Caribbean. In addition, the Andes split into 3 separate Mountain ranges in Colombia. 

The reason that you should be aware of this is that this diverse geographical environment has created significant cultural differences in Styles and Dress across the country. Please see below for specifics.

Regional Differences
The larger cities will have cultures more similar to North American cities. You will find the women of Bogota and Cali for example to be more independent, mature and sophisticated then women from the smaller cities.

The climate in Bogota is very cool and as a result the style is very similar to New York or San Francisco. Cali on the other hand is very warm, which means the style is more relaxed.

Along the Caribbean coast, a more conservative culture is prevalent. It will be common for the women to live with their mother and a sibling or two (this applies to women that have children also). Also in the more conservative areas, if you plan on meeting a women outside of the tour, she may bring a friend along as a chaperon. Also, with the average temperate averaging in the 80's, the style is much more relaxed than Medellin or Bogota for example.

Your Appearance
As you may expect, prior to meeting you, the Colombian Women will try to look their best.
You should respect their efforts and return the favor by dressing appropriately also.
In Bogota, the style of dress is similar to fashion found in New York, Paris or Malian. The color of the day is Black! You will feel more comfortable wearing nicer clothes while in Bogota. (The business men of Bogota wear nice suites and ties, so bring clothing that you would be comfortable wearing for a nice dinner in New York, San Francisco or a European capital).
In the more rural areas, a more “Western” style is prevalent. Nice jeans, a tucked in long sleeve shirt and some nice shoes (other then sneakers), and you are good to go!
And along the Caribbean coast, a more relaxed style befitting the climate is the norm. This is where you can break out your shorts and flip flops (at least for a day at the beach!), but for dinner in the Historic City Central a more formal attire is appropriate.
And while the Colombian women will love you regardless of what you wear, and how you look, you will have more options and enjoy your tour more by dressing appropriately and fitting in more.
Also, the local men wear their hair short, with no facial hair. So prior to your trip; schedule a trip to the barber!

Their Appearance
Generally speaking, the Colombian women will dress sexier then what is common in North America. So, just accept it as the local custom and try not to take to much notice or comment on it.
Colombia has the highest rate of breast implants of any country in the world and in Medellin and Cali, they are more comfortable with displaying their “attributes” then what you may be accustomed to.  Once again, it is best to accept it for what it is and try not to notice or comment on their style or dress.
Remember, that while Colombian Women appreciate being women and are comfortable being sexy, that doesn't mean their morals or behavior match the style of dress.

Dating in Colombia
Even though most of the women you will be meeting have collage degrees and are working, money is generally very tight.  As a result, you should offer and expect to pay for all taxi fares for your dates. Taxis are very inexpensive in Colombia, so this should not be a problem..
Dinner and drinks are also covered by the man. And while Colombia is less expensive the North America, you should budget for 3 dates a day to play it safe.
Here is a little dinning advice, first of all, you may want to order for the “table” if you are dining at an ethnic restaurant (Sushi, Mexican, etc.). It is entirely possible that your date has never tried this food before and will appreciate you ordering her something tasty. Also, the Colombian diet is not very spicy (tends towards bland), so spicy and hot food may not be the best choice.

So, while you can obviously spend less, if you budget for $100 to $200 a day for dating expenses, you will have a better experience.

Your Attitude and Behavior
Please keep in mind that for many of these women just going to a restaurant for dinner is a significant event.   There is no need for you to try too hard to be entertaining or charming. Just relax and be yourself. They will appreciate the experience no matter what. Also, please keep in mind that the women appreciate and value strong and decisive men.

Drinking and Smoking
While Smoking is still permitted in Bars in Colombia, it is banned most other indoor facilities and restaurants.  The majority of Colombian women do not smoke, and to be appealing to the maximum number of women, it is best to be a non-smoker. If you are a smoker, please be aware that all  our events are non-smoking. This may include activities where smoking is allowed by the establishment, but for the enjoyment of your fellow guests and the women, smoking will not be permitted during our activities.

The national drink in Colombia, besides Coffee, is Rum. And while many of the Colombian women may be able to drink you under the table, it is best not to drink too heavily while on a Singles Tour.

2.    Never send money or bring gifts to anyone you met over the internet and have not met in person
3.    REPORT anyone who asks you for money or asks you to pay for anything

Red flags

• Asking for gifts before you have met
  Complaining about a recent financial situation
  Sob stories about sick relatives who need expensive operations
  Wanting to always go to the most expensive clubs and restaurants
  Ordering the most expensive meal and items on the restaurant menu
  Asking to get married WAY too soon
  Asking about visa information

If you encounter any of these, please report the girl immediately!

A genuine girl truly interested in you will not ask for anything.  She will wait for her dashing foreign man to give her things or offer to buy her things.  And even in those cases, the gifts should be small.

Most scammers don’t start out being scammers; they are made by overly generous foreign men!

Just remember, any girl talking about money, or asking for it, would seem to be more interested in that money than in you.  She obviously survived this long without you and your money, why does she suddenly need your money?
